All the benefits of the concert will be transferred directly to asbl Renaissance: it is a complex of three buildings, where 18 disabled adultes can have an independant life. Each adult has his room. They are cooking together, they are organising trips themselves, ... But there is an allday medical team with them. The whole project costs about 2,5 million € (100 million BEF). They still need 250.000 € (10 million BEF).

    We were performing at the "symBIOphonies '99", which is a yearly musical event at the Faculté Universitaire de Gembloux. This year in collaboration with the Finnish Embassy in Belgium and the Finnish Cultural Centre for the Benelux to celebrate the Finnish Presidency of the EU.

    The proceeds from this event will go towards "Aide au Développement Gembloux", an NGO which finances projects in developing countries, particularly those linked with agriculture.

    Concert for the non-profit "Plan Aid" a centre that provides shelter for children aged 3 to 18 who have problems living with their parents.


    *19 October 1997 at the Church of Sauvenière (Gembloux)
    Charity concert for the association of parents of pupils of Sauvenière school which supports and organises various activities for children.


    *18 October 1997 at the "Belgica Cultureel Centrum" in Dendermonde
    Charity concert for the organisation "Welzijnsteam Dendermonde" which provides assistance to prisoners and their families.


    *15 June 1997 at the International School of Brussels in Boitsfort
    Concert to benefit a Belgo-Polish camp organised by the Sisters of Charity, a Christian community which serves the Ecumenical Centre of Woluwe-St. Pierre.


    *26 April 1997 in the "Gemeentezaal" of Liedekerke
    Concert organised by "De Valier", a centre for the mentally handicapped, to mark its 25th anniversary. Musicians from the centre itself played with Bruocsella members in the first half of the programme. The goal of the concert was more symbolic than financial--to show that it is possible to integrate the handicapped into our society. This concert was a "premiere" in Belgium and aroused great enthusiasm from the audience, which included the Belgian Prime Minister, Jean-Luc Dehaene.


    *28 February 1997 in "L'Espace Del Goutte" in Ophain
    Concert organised by the owners of the "Espace Culturel Del Goutte" within the framework of a cultural fortnight devoted to the Belgian painter Frans Courtens. Proceeds from this concert went to the Queen Fabiola Villages.


    *15 February 1997 at the "Ontmoetingscentrum De Vonke" of Kortrijk
    A concert organised by the non-profit organisation "Vrienden van Preetjes Molen" which restores wind mills dating from the last century.


    *10 October 1996 at the Music Room of the European Parliament in Brussels
    Concert organised by BRAL (Brusselse Raad voor het Leefmilieu) [Brussels Council for the Environment] within the framework of a musical day held in the European Community district of Brussels (Ixelles-Etterbeek). The symbolic goal was to make European officials aware these neighbourhoods exist and should be respected.
