After each Children’s Concerts, the adventure continues! Children are invited to meet the orchestra and try out all the different instruments! Our BSO musicians love to inspire and encourage the next generation of young musicians. It’s a joyful, hands-on introduction into the world of orchestral instruments – and it might just spark a lifelong love of music!
This special “meet the orchestra” moment is part of what makes the BSO Children’s Concert experience so unique! Which instrument do you want to learn? Our musicians love helping children find their sound. Do you like the rich timbre of a string instrument, the playful character of a woodwind instrument, the bright, heroic sound of the brass or the thrill of percussion?
